I know what your thinking, their not stocks – their currency. However, they are both a store of value and an investable asset so you can think of it both ways in my opinion. Either way, as the crypto homies like to say.. it’s AltCoin Season. The way I look at it, it’s Crypto Season no matter how you look at it. If you were an early investor in Bitcoin and perhaps you have picked up some mining hardware along the way, it makes sense to keep riding the bull run and see how big it gets. Bitcoin is currently at a market capitalization of $1 Trillion ($54,000 USD per BTC 27/04/2021). Assuming it goes to 70, 80 and 100k like some industry insiders and analysts are predicting, that would make it worth as much as any of the world largest’s companies. The funny thing is, I think China has already co-opted Bitcoin before the rest of the world was even awake to what was happening. Make no mistake, this is a massive decoupling of the financial structure by the free market themselves. I love this mission statement from Cardano although I’m sure you’ve seen other noble blockchain companies and startups around with similar messaging:

Cardano exists to redistribute power from unaccountable structures to the margins – to individuals – and be an enabling force for positive change and progress.
